Current lobby display: The Beauty of Wood
The Beauty of Wood aptly describes the current lobby display highlighting the work of the Dakota Woodturners. Their motto states that they are
dedicated to expanding the knowledge and benefits of woodturning and they are proud members of the American Association of Woodturners. The pieces on display demonstrate the club’s dedication to its motto and showcase the club’s ability to work with many woods and woodturning techniques.
The Dakota Woodturners formed in 1998 and currently consist of more than 75 members. Meetings are held the second Saturday of each month at the Bismarck State College Vocational Technical Center. New members are always welcome and prospective members are invited to attend the monthly meetings.
The items may be viewed through the end of June. For more information on the Dakota Woodturners, visit the club’s website at
www.dakotawoodturners.com.
